Role Overview:
As a Volunteer External Relations and Media Liaison, you will:
Develop and Maintain Key Relationships: Act as the primary contact for government organizations, businesses, and community services, fostering partnerships and collaboration.
Engage with Media Outlets: Respond to media inquiries, represent Kibtech in interviews, and ensure consistent and professional messaging.
Promote Kibtech’s Programs: Highlight Kibtech’s initiatives and achievements through strategic external communications and outreach.
Coordinate Events and Campaigns: Collaborate with internal teams to plan and promote events, campaigns, and other public-facing initiatives.
Monitor Industry Trends: Stay informed about developments in education, government policies, and community initiatives to align Kibtech’s efforts accordingly.
Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in public relations, government relations, or media outreach (preferred but not mandatory).
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Confidence in public speaking and representing an organization.
Passion for education and community empowerment.
