Original 19th Century Black Sea Kindjal Style Silver Hilt Dagger U.S. Artillery nor was there an oilOriginal Item: One of a kind. This is truly wicked: a very curved early 19th century assassins dagger. Slim steeply curved 13" blade with the inside edge fully sharpened. The outside edge only sharpened about two thirds of the way up from the point. Clearly intended for use by approaching the victim from behind. The shape of the silver hilt, profusely engraved, is very similar to the hilt of the Cossack Shashqua sabers that also come without knuckle
