This is a very interesting sword which we believe to be an Imperial Russian M1826 Cuirassier Troopers sword from the Crimean War era. The ricasso appears to bear a Russian makers marking that is now far too worn to read. The Russian 1826M sword is clearly a near copy of the French An XIII cuirassier sword. The 38 clipped point blade is in great condition for its age, and still firm to the hilt with the leather blade
