Orthoceras Spire Tower Crocodile These openings occur in areasReceive this beautiful, hand selected polished orthoceras (Cephalopod) fossil specimen measuring approx. 10" x 3. 25" x 3" from the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. Orthoceras are extinct "straight" cephalopods that lived during the Late Devonian period around 370 million years ago. Like other cephalopods they lived inside of their shell, had tentacles they could use to grab food and used jet propulsion, squirting water to move. Because of their beauty
